Cavernous Shells

We invite you to embark on a journey through the ever-evolving relationship between humanity and its protective shells at our upcoming exhibition, CAVERNOUS SHELLS.

In a world where adaptation is the key to survival, the selected works by SARAH DOERFEL, VINCENT SCHEERS, and PHILIPP ZRENNER explore the dynamic nature of our existence. From ancient origins to the present day, this exhibition delves into the transformation of our self-image and our environment.

Sarah Doerfel’s art encapsulates the essence of metamorphosis, blurring the lines between softness and strength, as we all undergo our own continuous evolution. Vincent Scheers paints vivid narratives of nature’s rebellion against human intervention and the fragile balance between man and the environment. Philipp Zrenner unveils the hidden stories of urban landscapes, revealing the beating heart of the city through his unique sculptures. The exhibition is curatorially flanked by Judith Hofer.

Join us in contemplating the porous and ever-changing nature of the shells that protect and define us.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to this special exhibition in the presence of the artists.
