Biography

In Chenxi Zhong’s sculptural work, a great many different materials can be discovered. The objects nestle into the space around them, picking up axes and details and carrying them forward to add a barely noticeable variation; making a movement that is so unexpected and yet makes sense. 
Thus, Chenxi’s works do not leave us in the comfortable position of being able to fathom everything at a glance, but require us to participate, thus involving us in their wonderful weave.
